8/28/2023 0 Comments Diablo 4 alpha leak video![]() There was a time when gambling involved putting actual things of value on the table and if you’ve ever seen a Western or a Pirate movie you know how that turns out. Comment by DeltaLimaCharlie on T02:26:48-05:00 Also casinos use chips for largely practical as well as security reasons because otherwise everyone would be forced to throw real money on the gaming tables leading to obvious issues regarding clutter and theft. It’s still predatory regardless of the reasoning behind it. It's the exact same reason why casinos use chips. It has nothing to do with being "cowards" or not, and everything to do with the proven fact that by divorcing real money by one or more layers of fake money, people are more apt to spend it because it's less "real" to them, in addition to hiding the real cost when buying it. *I understand this was a leak and not fully representative of the actual release. Seriously though, game companies need to stop being cowards and put the actual cost of these microtransactions instead of obfuscating it with premium currency. Premium currency instead of just using real money value? That's a Palladium. Weird, went to that reddit page and found some subreddit about 53 minutes leak instead o.oĮdit: It's 43 minutes actually, correct, the dude corrected himself in the post, not the link Comment by Tharid on T13:18:51-05:00 (By then, I should have a better Dolby theater sound system. Having the community show positive feedback already in Pre-Alpha is already a plus in my book and the mention of the ultra wide screen support which I don't have yet but it does tell me they are working on every single compatibility kink needed for the game.Ĭant wait to try my 4k screen with my Dolby Theater mode sound bar on it when it comes out. Definitely gonna try to stay away from Diablo until 4 comes out so I can control my excitement for it lol. This is definitely sounding, looking, and feeling more hype. Palladium, eh? Now that's more like it! Comment by Devil64 on T12:36:07-05:00 Looking at multiple threads in r/Diablo and r/diablo4, the community seems to be quite positive about the current look of Diablo IV despite it being in a pre-alpha state, praising the visceral-looking combat, depth of itemization and character customization, and ultra-wide screen support.Ĭomment by SilverDragon234 on T12:12:28-05:00 The gameplay footage also shows the player visiting multiple quest hubs and their vendors which are used to upgrade potions or to buy scrolls for identification, teleportation, and wayfinding. Over 38 minutes, several systems like Diablo IV's talent tree or the player inventory can be seen. The player explores the vast swamps of Hawezar, engaging with countless monsters and important non-player characters during multiple storyline quests. ![]() The second, much longer video showcases Barbarian gameplay during the leveling phase. A new in-game currency called Palladium can be used to buy in-game cosmetics such as transmog armor sets or backpacks. The first video provides a look into Diablo IV's in-game shop. According to the original Reddit post, both watermarked videos with a total length of 43 minutes were recorded during Diablo IV's Friends and Family Alpha test, sharing content that obviously was not meant for the public eye. On the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit, a user has shared two leaked videos showing recent Diablo IV gameplay.
